Logitech showcases X-240 speakers with Apple iPod support

US based Tech Company Logitech has announced that they are working on a new set of computer speakers that include a docking cradle for Apple iPod.

This docking cradle would enable users to charge and sync their iPods with their computers.

Logitech would be showcasing this product at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show. The device would also be compatible with non iPod digital music players and mobile phones.

Jef Holove, Logitech´s vice president of product marketing for audio spoke on this product: “We have optimized the X-240 speakers for digital music enthusiasts by including a convenient, wired control center with an integrated cradle for a favorite portable media device. In addition to delivering great sound for the PC, the X-240 speaker system provides convenience and flexibility when using a portable music player with a PC.”

For computer usage, Logitech X-240 PC speakers deliver a rich sound while maintaining a smart profile. With stylish metal grilles, high-excursion satellite drivers, a ported down-firing subwoofer and dynamic, real-time bass equalization, the speakers deliver great audio in a stylish and slim design.
